The capital of Texas, Austin, has been named the best city to live in for the next decade because of small business, according to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.
The magazine said that the city has a dozen programs that help entrepreneurs of small business to flourish in the city. In 2010, Austin ranked the number one city for small-business-vitality chart. Between 2004 and 2009, while the national employment rate fell, Austin’s employment rate rose 16 percent. Between 2006 and 2007, the number of small businesses increased by 6 percent.
