A private report that was recently published stated that there are holes in how public schools in Texas are spending their state funds.
The report was titled “No Financial Accountability” and stated that public schools are not held accountable for how their financials are spent.
The school district is really good at providing a lot of data for where the money is going, but the authors of the report have stated that large amounts of money are just put under the category “instruction.” The authors of the study looked into 50 different districts throughout the entire state in order to get information for the report.
