Longhorns beat the Aggies by 2 points

Posted on Wednesday, February 8th, 2012 at 5:27 pm.

On Monday, the Longhorns traveled to College Station in order to take on the Aggies in a conference basketball game. The game was an intense one, with 9,792 people present to watch the rivalry unfold.

Throughout the game, both teams lost and gained the lead. Within the final minute of play, the Longhorns trailed the Aggies by one point. Rick Barnes, the head coach for the Longhorns, called a few quick plays and the Longhorns were able to regain the lead and secure the victory.

The 70-68 score favored the Longhorns, who were proud to have won on the road. This could potentially be the last time that the two teams meet in Big 12 conference play, because the next basketball season the Texas A&M Aggies will be playing in the SEC conference.

The Austin Accountants of Austin Accounting would like to congratulate the Longhorns on their victory over the Aggies. If you are interested in viewing the Longhorns’ schedule, please visit the Statesman today.
