Aviat Networks, Inc. saw a smaller 4Q loss this year than it had last year.
The company provides wireless-network services to phone-service providers among other clients. According to President and Chief Executive Michael Pangia, Aviat Networks has been working to reverse the past year’s revenue slump by using a new restructuring plan.
While last year’s loss at this same time was $1.49 a share, the company has only realized a loss of 34 cents a share this year. Revenue increased 19 percent in North America and 17 percent in Africa.
All of this took place while the firm announced the departure of its Chief Financial Officer Thomas Cronan.
